Find the right shade in your foundation that perfectly matches your skin tone, not too light or too dark.
Before looking at the different shades available, it’s best to take a really good look at your skin in natural daylight and note down the coloring undertones that show. It’s good to look at the veins on the inside of your wrists as the colour of these may help to determine your skin-tone too.
The first distinction you have to make, is in which large category of skin tone you belong: fair/light, medium, tan/deep.
Once you define the group of skin you belong to, try to understand if you have cool, neutral, warm or olive undertones.
