Oily skin
Natural Skincare for Oily & Acne-Prone Skin
Excess shine, enlarged pores, blackheads and blemishes are common concerns for oily and acne-prone skin. To restore clarity and balance, a dedicated skincare routine is essential.
Start with a gentle water-based cleanser such as a gel, foam or natural soap to effectively remove impurities without harsh surfactants or alcohol, which can strip the skin and trigger even more oil production.
Weekly use of a purifying face mask and exfoliant helps unclog pores, remove dead skin cells and refine texture. Despite the oily appearance, this skin type is often dehydrated underneath. A lightweight, non-comedogenic moisturizer is key to hydrating without clogging pores.

Cleansing
You should clean your oily skin twice a day, once in the morning and the other just before going to bed. Use warm water with a suitable, natural gentle face wash (cleansing oil, gel, foam, moisturizing soap...).
(Forget overly irritant or abrasive soap- or alcohol-based products that risk causing a rebound effect: the skin defends itself, becomes imbalanced and produces more sebum.)

Moisturizers
Using a daily moisturizer will help to rebalance moisture levels and oil production of oily skin. Gel moisturizers have a water-like texture and are super lightweight. They contain the lowest amount of oil, waxes, and emulsifiers.

Masks & Peeling
Oily skin naturally produces excess sebum and needs to be balanced in order to minimize oil production without drying out. Exfoliation should be an essential step in all beauty routines, but for oily skin it’s a must as it’ll help rid the face of any dirt, debris or dead skin that’s blocking the pores. For oily skin, we also recommend doing at least two masks a week – one detoxifying mask and one soothing mask. Discover our high efficient natural peelings and masks.
